One of the offshoots of the Hunt Guild was the Company of Falconers. It formed thanks to the effort of Lady Brianna in the East realm who also got the Charter created and signed. Then it spead across the SCA back towards the West and we got several kingdoms to sign the falconry charter at the GW this year AS XL.
I would like to thank King Brion for acknowledging the hardwork of Lady Briana and for recently giving credibility to the SCA falconry community by being the first Royal to sign the charter. SCA Falconers had been dormant for many years after initially being active in th West. Now they even bringing oldtime falconers back to the SCA.
On another note, I heard that King Brion did a great job holding Clarice the hawk through court and as you can see from the pictures- they looked quite regal.
